“I’ve been coming to the Portixol Hotel for well over 20 years, and returning always feels like coming home. Back then it was one of the original boutique hotels in Portixol, setting the standard with its contemporary design, relaxed atmosphere and genuinely warm hospitality. Two decades later, it has beautifully retained everything that made it so special. The hotel remains stylish, welcoming and perfectly positioned in the heart of one of Palma’s most charming waterfront neighbourhood’s. Whether you’re relaxing by the lovely outdoor pool and terrace or simply watching the world go by, it’s a wonderful place to unwind. The restaurant continues to impress with an excellent menu, consistently high-quality food and one of the best hotel breakfasts you’ll find. Every meal feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. What makes the Portixol Hotel truly exceptional, however, is its people. It was such a pleasure to be welcomed once again by the wonderful Jorge, Jaimie and the fantastic reception team. Seeing familiar faces after so many years speaks volumes about the culture of the hotel and the genuine care they show every guest. Thank you once again, Portixol Hotel, for another memorable stay. “The restaurant at Hotel Portixol is in a different league altogether. It is refined, stylish and elegant while at the same time very relaxed. The service is like being greeted by a loving family member from the hostess to the wait staff (Marisela who could not have been a better server with her care, guidance and attention) to the bartender Eduardo who is touted to be the best on the island. Make sure you make time to have a drink at the bar first. The food is likewise elegant but unfussy and downright delicious. The best source products are elevated to their highest potential by the chef’s team. Definitely try the tartar, tempura shrimp and the raviolis caseros. The kicker is that we didn’t even stay in the hotel. We live here in Mallorca and have been back again and again!”

“Stayed in one of the street rooms. Got incredible sleep. Extremely cozy and quiet. Excellent location if you want to be by the beach or convention center. If you need to get downtown, be sure to call a taxi well in advance.”

A personal note for potential guests: like almost all hotels in Spain, the hotel is very child-friendly, which should be borne in mind by anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Furthermore: If you arrive by car, you should expect delays at peak times due to a lack of free parking spaces ...”
