“My Family and I arrived on mid July and we felt very welcome by the reception staff. Asim was the person that attended us and because I had a birthday during this stay, my family received a complementary stay at their infinity pool for Grand Members. Another point were we spend a lot of out time was at the splash cove pool. My son loved the slides which are very safe for kids to slide alone ( given the proper age). The service provided from the Splash Bar was exceptional. The bartender Jaida, provided a great service and made me and my family feel at home with her service and friendliness. Jose (Lifeguard) and the Chef during the breakfast time were also very hospitalible and helpful. There were plenty of activities to do for adults and children as well. The adventure club animation team were also pretty good and friendly. Overall it was a great time to spend at this resort for the first time that my family and I were there. I would definitaly recommend this hotel for families looking to stay”

“After just two days at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote, I can honestly say this hotel has exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained and in a perfect location. Our room is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with robes, a fully stocked minibar that’s replenished daily, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The service has been exceptional from every member of staff, but a special mention has to go to Victoria at the pool bar and Ahmed in the sports bar. They are both absolute stars – so friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The food has been excellent throughout our stay so far, with plenty of choice and fantastic quality, and the drinks are equally impressive. Little touches like the readily available pool towels really add to the overall experience. We’re only halfway through our holiday, but we’ve already said we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote for making our stay so memorable.”

“Our recent stay at Dreams Lanzarote Resort was nothing short of exceptional, especially considering we were a group of 17 people, all with vegetarian and vegan dietary requirements. From the moment we arrived, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure every single guest was catered for individually. What truly stood out was the level of care taken with our meals. A bespoke menu was created daily, tailored to each person’s specific dietary needs. It’s rare to see such attention to detail on this scale, and every member of our group felt genuinely looked after. The variety, quality, and thoughtfulness of the food made a huge difference to our experience. Beyond dining, the resort itself is fantastic. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped, and everything is maintained to a very high standard. The nearby beach was another highlight—exceptionally clean, with soft sand, minimal stones, and no seaweed in the water. The availability of free sunbeds and umbrellas made it even more enjoyable. The guest relations team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always responsive and accommodating. A special thank you goes to Cesar from guest relations for his outstanding support with food planning and recommendations, Laura at Himitsu restaurant, and Beatriz at the buffet. Their warmth, sense of humour, attention to detail, and willingness to help made our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend Dreams Lanzarote Resort to anyone, especially groups with specific dietary needs. The level of service and care we experienced was truly outstanding.”

“The Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada is a beautiful, clean hotel in a fantastic location. It's just a short, easy walk to the harbour, restaurants and local shops, which made exploring Playa Blanca really convenient. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel itself is immaculately maintained. The menus also sounded imaginative and exciting, but unfortunately the food often didn't live up to the descriptions. The presentation and flavours were quite underwhelming. The biggest disappointment was the service. Throughout our entire stay, there wasn't a single member of staff walking around the pool taking drinks orders. I don't expect constant waiter service, but having someone come around every hour or so would make a huge difference. Instead, every drink meant getting up, walking to the bar and joining the queue, which became frustrating when you're supposed to be relaxing on holiday. We also found the staff to be less friendly and attentive than we'd expect from a five-star Grand Hyatt. The level of service simply didn't match the standard the hotel promotes. As all-inclusive guests, it was also disappointing that we couldn't have lunch in the à la carte restaurant until 3pm, while Grand Club guests could dine from 12pm and enjoy a range of additional benefits and exclusive areas. It left us feeling that the hotel is very much geared towards Club Access guests, with standard all-inclusive guests feeling like an afterthought. Overall, it's a lovely hotel in a brilliant location, but the service and all-inclusive experience didn't justify the premium price. With more attentive staff and simple touches like occasional poolside drinks service for all guests, this could easily have been a five-star experience.”

“Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing following our recent 11-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada to share some feedback after what was a very enjoyable and memorable holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Rico (Richie) in particular stood out—his friendly approach and the glass of sparkling wine on arrival were a lovely touch and really set the tone for the stay. We were also very grateful that your team accommodated our request to move rooms for a better sea view. The move the following day was handled smoothly and made a real difference to our overall experience. The hotel itself is excellent—beautifully maintained, with a great atmosphere and fantastic facilities. We especially enjoyed the pool areas and the overall feel of the hotel throughout our stay. A special mention must go to your restaurant teams. The standard of service—from the warm welcome to the attentiveness of the waiting staff and the professionalism of the chefs—was consistently excellent and really added to the quality of our stay, We must not forget the Housekeeping Team, again very professional. There are just a couple of small areas where we felt there is room for improvement. We found the black sunbeds around the pool areas to be a little uncomfortable over longer periods. We did appreciate that a courtesy room that was arranged for us, along with secure luggage storage, which was helpful. I would particularly like to recognise Cesar Aspiazu in the Guest Experience team, who was excellent. He was professional, approachable, and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time with you.
