“It started with the check in very friendly and quick, cases taken to our room. The room itself was the best room I have stayed in on the island. The views were amazing huge balcony with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The room had a steamer which was a lovely touch and a hair dryer. It did have a fridge which I would have liked to be a mini bar so that we could of used the balcony more,instead of having to fetch drinks. All the staff through the hotel were so friendly including gardeners, and security. One particular member of the team however stood out for me Patrick !! Not sure if he is a manager but really needs to be, as his passion for his job and enthusiasm for this hotel is commendable. I have seen reviews about the resturant and honestly its not justified. There is not a large option however there are options. I like the fact that there is not alot of waste.They really do try . The Breeze resturant was also very good too and probably my favourite. Its not an oversized resort hote,l it is a smaller boutique fibe,with amazing staff views and service. I would definitely return. Location you are a five euro taxi ride to sal rei, 15 euro to airport. Premium drinks package needs to be sold when you checkin to hotel and perhaps include cabana use with waiter service as another package. Highlight was definitely beach party !! “The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely boutique feel and a very relaxed atmosphere. The pool area is great, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food was a MAJOR let-down. Every meal we had was disappointing and fell well below expectations. For a 5-star hotel, we were expecting a much higher standard in terms of quality, variety, and overall dining experience. When paying for an all-inclusive package, you expect the food to be a highlight and not feel the need to look elsewhere for meals, especially when you choose to stay at a hotel that’s remote. Sadly, the dining experience spoiled what could have been a wonderful holiday.”

“Honestly, I cannot fault this hotel. The staff are the loveliest of people around. Always happy to help. Personal shout-out to Patrick! The hotel upon arrival looks grand. 24 hr security. It's right on top of the beach and has It's own pool. The rooms are spacious and includes air-conditioning. I was personally sold on the shoe shine kit and shoe horn. The food was sensational. Dinner is themed every night so you're not getting the same flavours. There is so much to choose from and they even grill your chosen fish/meat fresh. I've never had a mashed potato so smooth and creamy in my life. Even the coke had more bubbles than I'm accustomed to. The hotel puts on activities throughout the day, anything from darts, to pottery class to paella making. The town is roughly a 30 minute walk or less than a 10 minute drive. If you get a taxi into town it's €5 one way. Added bonus is, there are no children. I genuinely didn't want to return home yesterday. I can't fault the place. Highly recommend.”

“A very relaxed style of accommodation, no big blocks and long corridors, just pleasant walkways and individual rooms. The pool was perfect, the restaurant was pleasant, the food was good. The beach was beautiful (although the sea is a little rough!) the town is a short, pleasant walk away and well worth a visit. Loved it !”

“We just got back from a 10 day stay here and I can’t recommend the hotel enough! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The food was excellent ! We ate at the buffet for most meals. It is a small buffet but we loved this as all the food was fresh and very well prepared! Lots of delicious fresh fish, vegetables, salads and the meat options looked great too (although we are vegetarian so didn’t try them). The pool is beautiful and we spent most of our time here - the atmosphere is so relaxing, we feel so rested and wish we could go back! The beach is also great - you can definitely swim in the sea but I would recommend bringing some sea shoes as it is a bit rocky. But the sea is beautiful and clean! Our room was great - clean and spacious. And lastly we went on a half day trip of the island and it was beautiful! Untouched white sand beaches, amazing caves and turquoise seas ! If you are looking for a relaxing stay, where you can fully switch off and just enjoy yourself in the sun, you should stay here! Thanks so much to all the team at Barcelo! 🤩🌞🌊”
